try for you a trip that departs from Abano and
explores the Euganean Hills by car and walk. The
not-to-be-missed wine and food tasting ends this
tour, for 3 hours of total relax.

Positioned
on mount Gemola it's named after the
blessed Beatrice d'Este, born in 1191,
who lived at the court of the ducal
family of Este and who later turned to
the life of the monastery built here in
the XII century.
In 1600 a Venetian merchant took over
what was left of it in order to turn it
into a villa. It gets it's actual look
from later transformations.

maps that explain the
evolution of the euganian ecosystem from the beginning,
about 30 milion years ago. Regarding the flora the
museum tells you about an environment that's hardly
altered. The fauna is a different matter: there's proof
that bears, stags and deers once lived there.

Here you
can leave your car and walk on the path
that surrounds the Farm, for a nice walk
of about one hour and a half (2 km). It
is not very hard, so you can enjoy
yourselves looking at fantastic views.
Good news for the wine-lovers: the Monte
Fasolo is also an award-winning wine
growing and producing farm.
After this “immersion into the green”

You simply
have to stop by the terrace of this
Holidays farm, which is a classic of the
trips outside Padova. Peacefully seated,
you can enjoy the pleasures of good
wine, cheeses and various kinds of cold
meats and salami in front of a panoramic
view of the valley. But be careful not
to exaggerate with the wine, because the
return has the same bends of the outward
journey!
